It's not just any vessel, it's the largest and most impressive one to ever grace the waters of the Hastings River. Its presence has become a beloved sight, especially when dolphins make a delightful appearance in the waves.
Passengers on the Rhythmboat are in for a treat as they cruise along the Hastings River. With each passing season, the scenery changes, revealing new facets of the river that will make your journey a unique and captivating experience.
Meet the Crew
Co-owner and manager of Port AdVenture Cruises, Elsa is also known affectionately as David’s producer on their “Talking Entertainment with Dave and Elsa” radio show on 2WAY FM Hastings Community Radio 103.9.
Elsa is the one making everything smooth sailing behind the scenes, from taking the bookings, overseeing the catering, promoting and marketing to cleaning and servicing the vessel.
Elsa’s dedication to her community is evident. As one of 11 board members on the Greater Port Macquarie Tourism Association Board, she is passionate about Port Macquarie and local tourism operators.
Bringing a positive and strong work ethic to everything she does, Elsa takes her vocation seriously, and is also highly proactive with incorporating
sustainable practices into all they do, from recycling and minimising rubbish to supporting fundraising events on their Rhythmboat.

Co-owner and manager of Port AdVenture Cruises, Elsa is the heart of the operation — and the reason everything runs so smoothly. From bookings and catering to marketing and even rolling up her sleeves to service the vessel, she keeps the Rhythmboat shipshape.
You may also know her as the producer (and quick-witted co-host) of Talking Entertainment with Dave and Elsa on 2WAY FM Hastings Community Radio 103.9.
Passionate about her community, Elsa serves on the Greater Port Macquarie Tourism Association Board, where she champions local tourism and sustainable practices - from recycling and waste reduction to hosting fundraising cruises.

Meet David
Cruise Director, MC, DJ, entertainer - David wears all the hats, and he makes sure every cruise is as fun as it is unforgettable. Even the safety briefing gets a dose of his trademark humour.
He’s a passionate supporter of live music and has turned the Rhythmboat into a stage for countless local performers and gigs. A die-hard Elvis fan, David’s entertainment journey has seen him kicking a ball with Rod Stewart, waterskiing with members of Bad Company, and dining with Suzi Quatro.
Beyond the spotlight, David backs great causes like the Wayside Chapel and regularly hosts charity and fundraising events on board.
Step aboard and you’ll see why David’s energy and charisma keep the party going long after the sun sets.

That’s “Tom”, Cruise Director to those who are familiar with the Rhythmboat! David is a born entertainer and he can even add his unique touch of light-hearted humour to the safety briefing on board!
Being the MC or DJ is one of his favourite things to do at work. He is a firm supporter of performers and many local gigs have found a place to perform on board the Rhythmboat.
A true-blue Elvis fan, David is no stranger to the world of entertainment. He has kicked soccer balls with Rod Stewart, taken members of Bad Company waterskiing and shared a meal with Suzi Quatro.
David is also a strong supporter of the Wayside Chapel and he never passes up an opportunity to provide a venue for charity and fundraising events on the Rhythmboat.
