Party time at the EaTs Soul Savour Festival
David Lazarus was the MC at the EaTs Soul Savour Festival on 31st August. Knowing David, he does not miss a chance to bring a party to life! The EaTs Soul Savour Festival is one we did not want to miss. It is a great opportunity for all the community to come together to support worthy causes for charity.
A special treat on P&O Cruises
David used to work on cruise ships as a DJ entertainer and hosting events for the kids' club. He even broadcasted on the Oriana's radio program called Sunset Sounds.
We got a wonderful complete complimentary cruise for David and myself from P&O Cruises, which was a lovely surprise. With so many things to do for Port AdVenture Cruises we only got down to taking up this beautiful invitation recently.
It was a four night cruise with a one island stopover, and we had a balcony cabin as well. It was a much needed break to do absolutely nothing except relax and enjoy the experience and entertainment on board.
Luckily our cruise team in Port Macquarie took care of business while we were away!
Spotting an injured dolphin
It is always a delight to meet dolphins on our cruises and in July this year we met one that was injured. It was a bottlenose dolphin and we managed to take a photo and video of it. We passed it on to the 7 Nightly News and the Sea World Foundation got on the issue immediately to try to find and help the dolphin. Find out what happened in our blog.
